Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

This policy explains what TradePulse collects, why, who helps us run the Service, how long data is kept and what you can do about it. For any question about it, write to support@apptradepulse.de.

1. Information We Collect

We collect what the Service needs to work and, only if you allow it, to improve it:

2. Your Trading Data Stays Yours

Your journal is private to your account and belongs to you. Platform connections are read-only: cTrader connects through its official OAuth authorisation, and MetaTrader 5 through the investor (read-only) password. With these, TradePulse can read your account (trade history, deposits and withdrawals, balance and open positions) but can never place, modify or close a trade or move funds. TradePulse only ever asks for the MT5 investor password; never enter your master password, because TradePulse cannot tell the two apart and a master password would allow trading. Your MT5 password goes to the provider that runs MetaTrader 5 connections for us and is not stored in our own database. We do not sell your data, we do not show it to other users, and we do not browse your journal; limited technical access happens only when you ask for help with a specific problem or where the law requires it.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the Service, process payments, keep the platform secure, and write to you about your account. If you leave them on, we also send you a weekly summary of your trading (you can turn it off in Settings) and occasional emails about the product (each has an unsubscribe link). Tips and offers, such as a discount on a paid plan, we send only if you agree to receive them, at sign-up or later in Settings; we keep the date you agreed, and you can withdraw at any time in Settings or with the unsubscribe link in every such email. Your trading data is used for one purpose: showing you your own journal, statistics and insights.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your account and journal are stored in our database, hosted in the European Union, encrypted in transit and at rest. Once a week the database is backed up: the last eight backups are kept with the database, and a copy of each is also kept off-site. Some of the providers in section 5 process data outside the European Union, for example for the support chat assistant, the MetaTrader 5 connection and Telegram alerts. Access to production systems is restricted and authenticated.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of service providers to run TradePulse: website hosting, fonts and a bot check on the sign-in forms; database and file storage; email delivery; the AI assistant that answers the support chat, which receives the messages and screenshots you send there; product analytics, only if you allow it (section 9); and, when you choose them, the services that connect your trading platform and Telegram alerts. Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record: Paddle sells you the subscription, so we never see or store your card or bank details. Each provider receives only the data its job needs.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal or trading data. We share it only with the providers in section 5 that run TradePulse for us, with services you choose to connect, and where the law requires it.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. Disconnecting a trading platform stops future syncing without deleting your journal. You can delete your account yourself in Settings → Data, or ask us to do it. Deletion immediately removes your profile, trades, notes, tags, screenshots, deposits and withdrawals, goals and Guardian settings, support chats and their attachments, and your broker connections, including the MetaTrader 5 connection held by our connection provider.

Some records stay after deletion: backups made before it (the copies kept with the database are replaced within eight weeks; the off-site copies are kept until we remove them), a one-way hash of your email address that stops the free trial being claimed twice, the records Paddle keeps as the seller of your subscription, and, if you allowed analytics, the events our analytics provider holds under your account ID.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to its use, to withdraw any consent you gave (to analytics, or to tips and offers) at any time without affecting what was done before, and to complain to a data protection authority. You can export your trades to CSV in Settings → Data and delete your account there at any time; for anything else, write to us.

9. Browser Storage and Product Analytics

TradePulse keeps you signed in with your browser's local storage rather than cookies, and it uses no advertising cookies. Your browser also remembers your preferences and which website first sent you here. The payment checkout and the bot check on the sign-in forms may set their own cookies when they load.

With your permission, and only then, we use an analytics service in the European Union to count how the product is used: page visits and a small set of named steps, such as signing up, connecting a broker or saving a journal note. A page visit records the page's address without anything after the “?” (except campaign tags such as utm_source), the website that linked to it, your browser, operating system, type of device and screen size, and a random ID for the visit. It is built so that:

You are asked once. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Data, and saying no removes the browser ID.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, and the date at the top always shows the latest change. We will tell you about significant changes by email or in the app.

11. Contact

For privacy questions or data requests, email us at support@apptradepulse.de. If you have an account, you can also use the support chat in the app, where an AI assistant answers first and you can ask for a person to reply.
